I have a serious love for jumpers. They’re warm, cosy, comfy and just full of awesomeness. They can be worn with jeans, trousers, skirts, over dresses, under dresses and with everything in between. There is just something about a good jumper that makes me heart happy. When the colder season sets in, the most exciting thing is definitely being able to wear a jumper without overheating. That’s the best thing about November in the North, it’s actually cold – not that fake sun that warms up and melts you by 2pm.
My collection grows throughout the year, and by the time we hit September-time, I can finally start wearing my favourite items of clothing. In September this year, I received this super cosy jumper from Romwe, and wanted to properly wear it in before I decided to share my thoughts.
This jumper isn’t the first item I’ve owned from Romwe, I also have this top (see post) which is one of my all-time favourite prints. When I spotted this sweater online, I just knew I had to buy it, the colour is what grabbed me first. The only way I can describe it is “oatmeal with a hint of orange” or just “autumnal” works too. The knitted sweater is an oversized design, and shaped to have a wider neckline and hemline.
I love this feature because I can wear this jumper as a tunic, as it’s long enough for leggings around the house, but I can also wear it with classic blue jeans. Plus, one side slips down which kind of turns the jumper into a one-shouldered piece. The sleeves are narrower towards the end, but I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be full length or not! On me, they’re pretty short so I think they’re supposed to be ¾ sleeves.
Paired with this sweater, I have blue ripped jeans, which I stole from my 17-year-old sister. I pretty much never wear ripped jeans because I don’t have the slimmest thighs, but ripped jeans worked with this look so I’m sticking with it. Doesn’t matter about my legs, the jeans are cute!
I’m also carrying my everyday backpack I pretty much take everywhere with me, the same watch I wear every day, my favourite blue aviators (which I’ve had for five years) and classic Converse – of course.
Do you have that one item of clothing you just can’t get enough of?
