In 2017, I learned I like snow a lot more than originally thought. I knew I was a winter lover, the cosiness and blanketed streets always makes me happy. But I always thought I was more of an indoorsy person. The type to enjoy the weather from behind the window. On this specific day, I decided to just try it. Just head out and figure out if I love it.
I loved it.
Being out in the snow isn’t even that cold, I spent around three hours outdoors and didn’t want to head back. I live in a village surrounded by farms, so it’s only a few minutes of walking before you find yourself surrounded by cows and white fields. Snow days aren’t all that common in Yorkshire anymore, they stick around for a day or two and then melt away.
When the opportunity fell into my hands, I headed out with my mother and camera – and took some photos. Enjoy!
Also a huge shoutout to Next (real quick). I bought this coat in 2007 – yes, 11 years ago. It even has the old Next logo inside and it is still in MINT condition. This kind of quality deserves an honourable mention, I was 11 when I bought it, and it still fits, and is just as warm!
