I’m always very fond of sayings like this, because they prompt you to think before you act. They force us to treat others how we would like to be treated and always consider the consequences. Something that’s very important in the world of social media and smartphones. I’m spoken about kindness before on my blog, and I still firmly believe in every word written. I’m so pro-kindness it hurts, haha!
When I spotted this slogan tee on Next’s site, it immediately grabbed my attention. The first thing was the colour, because it perfectly matches this pair of ASOS pumps I bought during a midnight shopping spree (which happen to be currently on sale). I can’t be the only person who does that…right? You can just casually scroll Pinterest for some fashion inspo during a sleepless night and all of a sudden you have a brand new wardrobe at your door. My Hermes delivery dude is named Trevor (we’re on a first name basis) and he’s basically like family.
Anyway, the shirt is such a pretty colour of pink – a colour that I’ve been falling deeper and deeper in love with recently. A couple of years ago, the colour repulsed me and now it’s the theme colour for my blog. How things change. I love a good slogan tee, and I think the design of this one is subtly genius and the perfect addition to my wardrobe. My pink backpack is also from Next (a one similar here) and just had to go with this outfit. I must admit, before leaving the house I thought to myself: “is this too much?”, but then I realised – can you every really have too much pink? And can you ever be too colour co-ordinated? I think not.
The weather at the moment can only be described as a “cold mess” so this Steve Madden bomber (which has been on the blog countless times) is back and better than ever. It’s a TK Maxx gem that’s lined with faux fur to keep me warm. It feels a little more like camouflage in today’s shooting location but we’re going with the theme of co-ordination so let’s pretend I planned this.
One thing I really adore when it comes to slogan tees is that they strike up conversation. I’ve been investing in quite a few over the past weeks (coming soon) and I’m really loving how they get people talking. There are plenty of conversations that starting from the slogan on this shirt and I love it!
