I’m a total countryside girl. Even though I think I’d love to live in a big city, every time I visit one, I miss the country.

One of my favourite things about the area of Yorkshire I live in, are these random untouched spots that make perfect photoshoot locations. Today’s location is about a 10 minute drive from my house, and I stumbled on it by accident one evening.

I often find as a blogger, I’m always on the lookout for new scenes to shoot and fun spots to photograph. I definitely don’t think I’m alone when it comes to this!

I came across this little corner while driving home from Leeds and realised it would look so great in the summertime sun. The natural green colours pop in my camera lens, and fortunately stayed perfectly vibrant during the editing process.

To some, this might look like a hot mess. You could look at this and think: “defo needs a good trim”. But to me, I like that it’s unkempt and wild. I love the idea of flowers being able to grow wherever they like, and leaves spreading as far as they can. The trees create the perfect shelter and it’s officially my new hiding spot on this random street.

I would have never thought following a “Public Footpath” sign would lead me down five steps and a mini-jungle, but the idea is quite fun.
