I see advertisements for eBay fashion everywhere. They have the largest selection of clothing in the world because it’s eBay, it’s international and it’s everywhere.
A couple of years ago, I would have never considered looking on eBay for a summer dress. I always liked the idea of having something brand new, and assumed everything on eBay was second-hand or previously worn. Then adulthood kicked in, and I realised you can’t buy everything new. So, I had a little browse on eBay and found a dress that looked great, came in plenty of sizes and was made to be sold on eBay.
After discovered an array on eBay shops selling affordable but stylish clothing, I decided to bite the bullet and go for a cute dress. It’s less than £10 so if it doesn’t fit, it’s not the end of the world.
This summer, I’m wearing more midi dresses than ever before, so went with a Strappy Midi Dress with Pockets. The dress comes in plenty of different patterns, but the free postage and packaging is what really sold me.
The dress arrived in about 10 days and fit perfectly. As in, I’m still slightly in shock that it was this affordable but is so comfortable. It almost feels like I’m wearing a high street item, maybe because it feels brand new. I chose a safe pattern that I knew I’d like, but now I’ve ordered one, I kinda want 10 more.
As a tall gal, my main concern is length when it comes to garments. My longer legs usually mean things that are advertised as midi don’t look very midi. Fortunately, this dress is just on my knees so I can still class it as a comfy midi.
The lightweight fabric is really easy to wear during the summer, and I love the elasticated back to make movement easy. In fact, the entire dress has a stretch to it, so I can move around without feeling restricted.
The dress is a really simple skater design, which is exactly what I’m looking for when it gets a little too hot. This dress is my first ever eBay purchase, and I’m definitely happy with the trail run. Now to order more!
